Throughout history, many human activities and beliefs have been influenced by the phases of the Moon.

Thus, in the northern hemisphere, the first lunation following Easter is called the red moon. In the fall, the harvest moon, which corresponds to the first full moon following the autumnal equinox , is associated with the harvest, while the next full moon is called the Hunter's Moon, as it presents favorable conditions for nocturnal hunting.
